Soybean Side Effects - Mad About Soy

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

Not because I hate soy but because I hate the way the Soy industry has lied to us and poisoned us for profit. You must read Kaayla T. Daniels's book The Whole Soy Story to truly understand the history and damaging effects of soy. The book contains many compelling testimonials, about the dangers of soy, from real people. The serious health problems caused by heavy soy consumption are unbelievable. Soybeans are a cheap, crappy, hard to digest, food source with many harmful side effects. Once again you have been lied to and I will not tone down the truth so corporations can market waste products as health food. I know what you're thinking. If soy is so bad then how come most people think it is good? This is why:

Soybean Side Effects - Mad About Soy

First of all, the origins of soybean use, 3000 years ago, in ancient China, Japan and Indonesia came out of poverty and famine. The soybean did not serve as a food until the discovery of fermentation techniques.1 Soybeans were used for crop rotation to add nitrogen to the soil.

They were not eaten.

These ancient peoples would have rather eaten fish and meat they just did not have enough. Soy Protein or Tofu evolved as a poor man's meat substitute. It was discovered that fermenting the soybeans gave them a better flavor, made them more edible and medicines could be created from the soybeans-like Nattokinase. It is the fermenting of soy that makes it healthy in small quantities. This fermentation of foods has been used since ancient times to preserve food and create medicines from food, and is known as "Alchemy".2

The Chinese did not eat unfermented soybeans because of the large quantities of natural toxins or "antinutrients" that can cause serious gastric distress, reduced protein digestion and conditions of the pancreas including cancer.1 Unfermented soy is not healthy at all and large quantities, such as the levels currently consumed in America, is very detrimental to our health. It has been linked to hypothyroidism, early puberty in children, loss of testosterone, and many other hormone related health problems.2 The American soy industry took the unfermented soybean, genetically modified it and bastardized it into an unhealthy food that nature never intended. What is further compounding the problem is the relentless multi-billion dollar marketing campaign to convince us that soy is health food and we should eat it in quantity.

"Marketing costs money, especially when it needs to be bolstered with "research", but there are plenty of funds available. Soybean producers pay million annually to support United Soybean's program to "strengthen the position of soybeans in the marketplace and maintain and expand domestic and foreign markets for uses for soybeans and soybean products." Private companies like Archer Daniels Midland also contribute their share. ADM spent million for advertising during the course of a year."1 ADM is, of course, the corporation that brought us Hydrogenated Soybean Oil or "Trans Fats". The marketing is working. "Sales from soy milk alone have risen from million in 1980 to over 0 million in the US last year."1

The best marketing strategy for a product that is inherently unhealthy is, of course, a health claim. 1

Claims that eating soy can "lower cholesterol levels" and "reduce cancer" have been approved by the FDA after heavy lobbying and "alleged research" from the soy industry supposedly proving a health benefit. The opposite is actually true. Soy contains "antinutrients" that are toxic and carcinogenic to the human body.2

Soy protein (Tofu) is the spoogy waste leftover from making soybean oil. This sludgy byproduct from the soy oil industry was considered a waste product and animal feed until recently. By the way, animals do not like soybeans either and will only eat them when they are starving to death.

When I first started weight training I picked up a tub of vanilla flavored soy protein powder and started chugging down some chalky, ill tasting shakes with glee. I thought I was doing myself a big favor but little did I know I was actually reversing any chance of muscular gains. Scanning through a recent "Muscle Magazine" I saw an article supposedly reviewing the different protein powder supplements available on the market today. The article pictured animated protein tubs with friendly faces on them and the names "Soy", "Whey", "Casein" and "Egg". Whey and Soy were portrayed as the best choice for health, low cost and nutritional value. Now listen carefully to what I am going to tell you next. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! Whey and Soy protein are waste products from the food industry, cleverly disguised as "health food" and heavily marketed to the American consumer.

Soy Protein Isolate is a heavily processed product. A slurry of soybeans is acid washed and then mixed with an alkaline solution. Acid washing in aluminum tanks leaches high levels of aluminum into the final product. The curd is then dried at high temperatures completely denaturing the final product and making the protein ineffective and drastically altered from what nature intended. Animals on soy feed have to actually be given lysine supplements for normal growth.2

Don't trust Men's Fitness magazine either. "Open a copy and you will find pages and pages of full color ads for soy based candy bars and instant beverages promoted as a way to create the macho man with perfect abs. Sadly-ironically-most issues contain the requisite article advising these super-built Lotharios how to have great sex. Were Men's Fitness to warn it's readers about the fact that soy lowers testosterone levels in men, advertising revenues would dry up and the magazine would fold."2 (Kaayla T. Daniel)

Tear up your Fitness and Muscle Magazines that are filled with lies and eat a delicious steak or fish dinner.

Maybe you have heard of Edamame, the new "healthy" baby green soybean pods. While eating at a local Sushi restaurant recently I noticed tables of customers around me happily munching on Steamed Edamame appetizers. Surely this must be good, right? Wrong! Edamame is crap too! The good news is these baby soybeans still in the pod are tender and more palatable. They also contain less of the harmful plant estrogens that diminish testosterone. So I would compare them to light cigarettes. They are much less harmful than regular soybeans that are loaded with anti-testosterone hormones!

Supporters of Soy debunk milk and supporters of milk (from pastured animals) debunk soy. They are both right and they are both wrong. Small amounts of milk from pure pastured animals would be nice and ideal but not necessary. Small amounts of fermented soy products like Nattokinase and Miso prepared the ancient way are OK and considered medicine in the East.

If you are not eating organic, you should know that 99% of the non-organic soy we eat is genetically modified and has one of the highest percentages of contamination by pesticides of any of our foods.1 This processed, genetically modified "American Soy" that we know, is poisoning us and causing illness and disease.

Soy Protein excellent for lowering Testosterone

Eating Soy protein causes lowered Testosterone levels. This is especially troubling to men and bodybuilders. To a bodybuilder, soy protein is like Kryptonite! The plant estrogens will rob you of your manhood, shrink your muscles and lower your sex drive. Ancient monks used to eat extra tofu to help them to easily maintain their vows of celibacy.2

Vegetarians who consume tofu and bean curd as a substitute for meat risk severe mineral deficiencies. The results of calcium, magnesium and iron deficiency are well known; those of zinc are less so.1 I met someone recently who was vegetarian and ate lots of tofu because she "loves animals". For gods sake don't eat a waste product from a crappy bean because you love animals! Love animals and eat raw nuts, "quality" beans and maybe some eggs. I love and respect animals as well and I am often astounded by the awesome beauty of nature's wild creatures. Humans, however, did not rise to the top of the food chain just to step aside and eat tofu because we love animals. I love them, respect them and eat some of them too!

Dump your milk down the sink! Spit your Tofu out the window! Throw your milk and soy products in the dumpster today and be healthier tomorrow!

A Paleo Cookbook As Your Guide to Health

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

If you are on the quest to restoring and strengthening your health, you are bound to hear about the Paleo diet. When you do, you will surely want to consider a good Paleo cookbook to be your guide as you start out on this new health plan.

A Paleo Cookbook As Your Guide to Health

The Paleo diet is a very basic nutritional plan that consists of all natural, raw, and unprocessed foods that includes fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, nuts, natural oils, various roots, and natural sweeteners (like those found in fruits). Other foods such as refined sugar, salt, processed oils, legumes, various grains, and dairy products are considered unhealthy in this type of diet. When people get a glimpse of this, they instantly think that the food in these cookbooks might taste really bland and flavorless. That is actually the contrary. Paleo diet-inspired dishes are rich in flavor and you won't even feel that you are eating a very healthy meal. The reason behind this is that, although it does away with the high sodium content and various preservatives, as well as other artificial ingredients, it actually makes use of the available spices. The different spices in the market are natural and are very much encouraged through this diet.

The do's and don'ts of the Paleo diet are really simplistic when compared to other nutritional plans. When you look at it closely, you will find that these various spices all have certain effects on the body and to one's health. Foods rich in ginger protect against diseases because of its high antioxidant content. It also helps in calming spasms and reduces the flatulence in the digestive system. It also works as a remedy to cases of nausea like travel sickness, pregnancy nausea, and hangovers. Cumin, on the other hand, is a very good source of iron and manganese, and also aids in the digestive system, as well as prevents bloating.

There are many other spices out there that prove beneficial to your health and that is what the Paleo diet is offering. So with the know-how on what certain spices do for your health, you can pick up your Paleo cookbook and look for recipes on how to cook your meal while making use of these preferred spices.
Generally, the Paleo diet is not strict because it is not specifically a weight loss diet. It is a kind of lifestyle change that is meant to be your regular way of eating. That is the reason why there are only minor modifications one has to make from their typical eating habits. All it requires is for you to practice its basic principles in the types of food you consume and at that point you are on your way to a healthier you.

The fresh, raw, unprocessed foods promoted and encouraged by this kind of diet are filled with vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, soluble fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, phytochemicals, and low-glycemic carbohydrates - all of which are essential to the body. And the fresher the food, the more "alive" these components are, thus handing them to your body in their best form. With such, you can expect that it will be very effective in keeping you healthy and strong. Being healthy is not a fad, it is building a better lifestyle so pickup that cookbook and try out some of those delicious recipes.

Adopt the Paleo Diet Approach to Cut Flab

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

In our desire to lose weight, sometimes we forget our limitations because we are blinded by our desire to achieve our desired figure. We want to reach that certain echelon of fitness and in doing so, some of us tend to do, dare I say it, outlandish things just to get that perfection. It is problematic, yes, but only if you don't have the proper guidance and information about the things you're planning to do.

Adopt the Paleo Diet Approach to Cut Flab

An example of a method to lose weight that we usually sweat over is following a diet. Every regimen has a rule, and sometimes we find it difficult to exactly do as planned due to several reasons: if we don't have enough self-control and discipline, it often results in cheating. And we tend to believe whatever our friends say about different ways to lose weight fast and so on; without verifying the information first. Remember that some things might work for your friend and not for you. So, you better be sure you are well-informed of what you're doing, which is the case if you entertain the idea of going for the Paleo Diet.

If you have already heard about the distinction of this diet, it is safe to say that it really is quite interesting and effective too. The concept of this diet is really simple, although it seems to be complicated because of the restrictive air it exudes; or so the critics say.

It reduces the intake of carbohydrates by increasing the amount of eating fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats and sea foods. By decreasing the carbs, it decreases the risk of having heart diseases, diabetes and cancer. It also encourages one to eat healthy and the information about Paleo diet is very accessible. There are various kinds of cookbooks and recipes that can easily be obtained should one consider this kind of diet.

Moreover, remember that if you want a permanent weight loss, you must remember two important pointers. First, remember the active lifestyle of our ancestors. Meaning, aside from eating healthy, you need to exercise as well. Second, you are your own person. And the criterion about the effectiveness of this Paleo diet is your ability to stay dedicated to your diet. There are foods that you probably don't want to eat and foods that you might crave for, so eat foods that you know will work well for you, while maintaining a good balance.

Supplementing The Paleo Diet: How To Apply Supplements Effectively To The Paleo Diet

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

How to supplement your paleo diet without going overboard or applying too much thought...

Supplementing The Paleo Diet: How To Apply Supplements Effectively To The Paleo Diet

The paleo diet is fantastic, and while paleo meals contain many different food groups which themselves contain excellent nutritional properties, sometimes you'll need to cover your bases. Some areas of nutrition require a bit of bolstering, and let's be serious; sometimes it isn't possible to give your body everything it needs every single day.

I will attempt to break this post up into sections which are easy to understand, internalise and action. I'll provide pro's and con's to each option I recommend so that you can make your own mind up on which option is best for you.

  • Multivitamins: What multivitamins are required vs what multivitamins are desired
  • Essential fatty acids: When to take them and which ones to take
  • Other supplements: Green tea extract, protein shakes and weight loss substances

MULTIVITAMINS
Multivitamins are widely considered as being essential to any diet. Most people do take vitamins as part of a "good practice" philosophy and that's OK. In fact, taking vitamins as a supplement to your paleo meals is favourable. However, should taking multivitamins be a requirement? Perhaps not... I'll explain why:

  • You should be eating enough daily to get all the nutrients your body needs, If you haven't got this right, perhaps you need a cookbook which could provide you with some recipes you can use as a base to fall back on. Ensuring you get enough good protein, fat and calories every day can be difficult, and having a paleo centric cook book on hand can take the guess work out of meal making.
  • It's not that you require multivitamins, it's just that its favourable. It's a good practice, and by that I mean that you should take vitamins as a supplement because its a good move on your part. You are covering your bases, and while it may appear at first that I'm advocating a "bandaid for a bullet hole" idea the real point is to blanket as much of your nutrition as possible and so the desired multivitamins should be as high quality as possible.
  • Drink a lot of water. Because of the increased load multivitamin supplements can take on your organs, namely the kidneys and liver, you should drink more water so that you can expel waste more effectively. Basically, the blanket approach to nutrient supplementation that is multivitamins will allow your body to not use a portion of those very nutrients. These "waste" nutrients need to be expelled in the form of sweat and urine.

I would advise taking multivitamins which are fairly comprehensive, but are of exceptional quality. Buy at the top of your budget, and when in doubt, stick to one of the top brands of multivitamins.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS

While there is some controversy around which fatty acids are good or bad for you, the general consensus is that they are in fact beneficial. Personally, I've noticed decreases in resting heart rate, as well as improvements in sleep, eyesight and the condition of my skin. The EFA's (Essential Fatty Acids) I take are pretty high in dosage, about 1000mg, and while others are of competing dosage amounts, I've found that the better the brand, the better the performance. EFA's are one of the best diet supplements you can choose to include in your paleo meals, as most people lack the required levels of fatty acids in their diets, even when they are trying hard to cover their bases.

  • Try and take the EFA's at different times of the day. I've noticed that if I take them before I go to sleep I generally sleep better, and in the morning my eyes are rested and feel relaxed. This is especially good to do if you work with computers during the day and get home only to find you are looking at more screens.
  • Eat a meal with your EFA's. Essential fatty acids are often derived from fish oils, and thus have some pretty heavy odur and taste if ingested on an empty stomach. I like to have mine with my morning breakfast, but you can have them whenever you like, as long as it is with a meal.

OTHER SUPPLEMENTS:

  • Green tea extract: Green tea extract contains epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG, which has been shown to help your body kill fat cells, as well as prevent them returning. EGCG also promotes the body to store carbohydrates in top level muscle, which not only will help with muscle mass development, but also in muscle endurance. Make sure you take a decaffeinated supplement to avoid bouncing off the walls. Timothy Ferriss has a great section on the benefits of green tea supplements and EGCG in his book, "The Four Hour Body".
  • Protein shakes: Protein shakes are an easy way of getting a relatively large amount of protein into your body. While the protein in most protein shakes is derived from milk in the form of whey protein, I still recommend using shakes a way of getting your protein for the day on top of what you get from your paleo meals. The convenience of having a protein shake available to eat is enough of a reason to make sure you always have some. I keep mine on top of my fridge!
  • Meal replacement shakes: Meal replacement shakes are a great way to cater for the amount of meals you aim to eat everyday. However, some, or most of them are high in carbohydrates. If you are just drinking meal replacement shakes to replace one of your paleo meals, you are approaching their purpose in perhaps the wrong way. I would recommend that you keep a meal replacement shake on hand to be used as part of your paleo diet supplements, and as part of your entire paleo food eating list.

SUMMARY

While the pull of using supplements as part of your diet is an easy route to go down, you should always try and eat real food for nutrients. If you are doing lots of physical exercise then you might in fact need to supplement your paleo diet. It will be difficult to get all the protein you need to support effective muscle growth without a protein supplement. In fact, for active people I'd recommend using supplements to ensure good muscle development.

Multivitamins should be part of your diet even if you get a lot of vitamins and minerals from all your food. I'd recommend you use multivitamins as a blanket approach to getting all your nutrients. If you are going to choose one thing to add to your paleo diet, I'd say that multivitamins are one the best dietary supplement you can get and they are in the realm of being essential.

  • Get a great protein shake and add it to your daily eating routine, a good protein shake is one the best dietary supplements you can.
  • Multivitamins and essential fatty acids should be added to all your paleo meals, and you should try and maintain a steady "take them everyday" schedule to ensure your body has ample vitamin and minimal reserves to stave of infection and illness.
  • Try and work out exactly what you need from your paleo diet supplements and only aim to get what you actually, really need. Excess is just that, excess, and your kidneys and liver will take a hit if you are always overloading them with excessive, concentrated nutrients.

The Stone Age Diet -- Its Use in Food Allergy

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

The Stone Age Diet is a diet which attempts to recreate the way Man ate around 30,000 or 40,000 years ago. It is sometimes also referred to as the 'paleo' or 'paleolithic' diet. Those who use it believe that going back to eating this way eliminates the root cause of many of the chronic health problems we experience today, which respond poorly to the symptom-suppression approach of modern medicine. It is particularly likely to be used in connection with treatment for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), other chronic digestive problems, and a myriad of health problems connected to food allergies or sensitivities and intestinal yeast overgrowth.

The Stone Age Diet -- Its Use in Food Allergy

The thinking behind the Stone Age Diet is as follows:

Diet and nutrition is crucially important to our health. The complex systems of our bodies need specific nutrients to function properly. Exactly what and how much we need is down to evolution, in the sense that we are only in optimum health when we eat what we have evolved to eat. Evolution is a slow process, measured in not hundreds, not thousands but millions of years. As a result, any radical, sudden change to our diet risks problems until our systems have had time to adapt. Indeed, over the last 40,000 years less than 0.02 per cent of our genetic code has changed. So our bodies are basically still designed to work best with the same foods and nutrients they were getting 40,000 years ago. This principle applies not only to what we readily recognize as our food and drink, but also to any potentially harmful chemicals which we unknowingly or knowingly take in via the air or in our food and water.

In other words, we have as yet only evolved to cope with the conditions that prevailed back in the Stone Age. That is to say, when we were existing on a hunter-gatherer diet of game meat, fish and seafood, insects and grubs, roots and tubers, plants and grasses, leaves, nuts, seeds, berries and other fruits. At that time, we did not have milk or milk products, because we had not yet domesticated animals. We did not have grains (wheat, corn/maize, barley, oats, rice etc) as these came later, when we learnt how to become farmers in the Agricultural Revolution around 5,000 years ago. And we certainly were not exposed to the thousands of man-made chemicals which find their way today into our air and our food and water, such as pesticides, fertilizers and growth promoters, plastics, drug residues, colorants, flavorings and other artificial additives.

There is a wide variation in individual requirements for nutrients, just as there is a wide variation in the ability to cope with potentially harmful chemicals. But taken overall, a population well adapted to its food and environment is generally robust and healthy. On the other hand, a population ill-adapted to its food and environment suffers high rates of chronic ill-health, and this is what we are seeing more and more of today.

The problem for us in our modern age is that we have changed our diets radically compared to what Stone Age Man ate. We have made bread and other grain-based products our staple foods. We have liberally supplemented these with sugar and other refined carbohydrates and with man-made fats, all of which were unknown to Stone Age Man. And we have changed our environment in terms of exposure to toxins and man-made chemicals beyond all recognition. It hardly seems surprising therefore that chronic, degenerative diseases are rapidly rising in the so-called 'advanced' populations of the world. It is illustrative that many researchers on this subject refer to these diseases as the 'diseases of civilization'.

So what are the 'diseases of civilization'? The term is most often used to refer to heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer and obesity. However, there are many other increasingly prevalent conditions which are thought to be linked with this mismatch between our modern diet and environment and the diet and environment we have evolved to handle. These include allergies and food sensitivities, asthma, auto-immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, multiple chemical sensitivities, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).

It is important to recognize that any attempt to recreate the real Stone Age Diet in our modern age can only be an approximation. This is because the nutrient and toxic chemical makeup of the soil is different. Similarly, our plants and animals have been selected and bred for characteristics such as fast growth, superior color or size or keeping qualities. So even our 'natural' foods today are different from those our Stone Age ancestors would have eaten.

In any case, there was no one single diet in the Stone Age, since what was eaten would have been slightly different from one group of Stone Age people to another, depending on location, time of year and availability of particular foods. This is why a modern-day Stone Age diet is probably more correctly termed a Stone Age-style diet. This variation in the composition of our Stone Age ancestors' diet is reflected in the 'Stone Age Diets' prescribed by medical practitioners. Whether using it as a diagnostic or curative tool, they all tend to prescribe their own favored version. What remains constant however is the premise that it is a diet of organic, natural foods based on fish, meat, game, poultry, vegetables and fruits.

There are two main groups of Stone Age Diet devotees. The first consists of people who feel that the modern environment is simply not a healthy way to live, and view a Stone Age-style diet as their best defence against succumbing to chronic disease. The second group comprises practitioners who have specialized in nutritional and environmental medicine (sometimes called clinical ecologists, allergologists or allergy specialists). They very often use a Stone Age-style diet as a means of identifying foods or chemicals that may be causing an individual's ill-health, and also as a basis for a permanent dietary change which may cure or control the illness.

As can be seen, a strict Stone Age-style Diet is very restrictive and compliance by patients used to our grain- and milk-based staple foods is likely to be poor. Therefore, some practitioners prescribe a 'modified Stone Age Diet' which may include some grains and dairy produce. However, these modified versions virtually always exclude the grains that we normally eat, wheat and corn/maize in particular. They are also likely to specify duck eggs instead of our usual eggs from hens, and goat's milk instead of cow's milk.

One of the most problematic aspects of embarking upon a Stone Age-style Diet, particularly a modified one where the individual is asked to include uncommonly eaten grains such as millet, quinoa, gram (chickpea) flour and buckwheat flour, is how to incorporate these items into palatable meals. All too often, the patient simply ignores those foods. However, this can result in an unnecessarily restricted dietary regime which increases the likelihood that the patient will abandon the diet before he has had a chance to benefit from it. Cookbooks which contain recipes specifically for these uncommonly eaten grains do exist, but they are few and far between. One such example is the 'Stone Age Diet is Easy Cookbook'.

Why Choose Recipes For Gluten Free Diets?

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

Celiac disease is the reason that the gluten free diet exists. This is because people with celiac disease have an intolerance to this protein, and it harms the small intestine in these people by causing them to release antibodies that attack the small intestine. In an age where weight loss diets are quite prevalent, the gluten free diet has been adopted as being a diet that can help you lose weight in a healthy way. Recipes specifically for those with an intolerance not only help people with celiac disease heal their small intestine and stay healthy, but they can also help you lose excess weight.

Why Choose Recipes For Gluten Free Diets?

The recipes for these diets leave out any ingredients that are derived from wheat, rye, and barley. Since these three things are quite common in a lot of everyday foods, it can be difficult to find ready made foods that are totally gluten free. With cookbooks such as Paleo Cookbook, people are finding it easier to make meals for this special diet themselves. Knowing what to look for, and what to avoid completely can mean the difference between a good day and a bad day for people with celiac disease. With easy to use cookbooks such as these, gluten free living can be a possibility for everyone.

You can make a delicious treat by taking one cored granny smith apple, one tablespoon of brown sugar, and a quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon. You fill the core of the apple with the brown sugar and cinnamon and wrap it in a large piece of foil. Place it in the oven, or on a barbecue until the apple softens. Unwrap and enjoy, but be careful of the hot sugar.

This type of diet will allow you to continue eating a lot of the foods you love. Fruits, veggies, dairy products, eggs, unprocessed meat, certified gluten free pastas, rice based crackers or bread, condiments, snacks such as plain chocolate and corn chips, coffee, tea, and so on can all be eaten in this type of diet. The foods you need to avoid are pasta, breads, crackers, pizza, and anything else which contains gluten based ingredients.

Being aware of which foods are okay to eat, and which foods to avoid is the key in both starting and maintaining any type of diet. You can lose weight, and be healthier overall.

How Do I Stop Gallbladder Pain?

,
Paleo Diet Cookbook :

Very simply, gallbladder pain is typically caused by gallstones. So, what causes gallstones? This has confused a great many people due to the incredible amount of misinformation out there. I would like to simplify it for you so you can easily stop gallbladder pain and regain control of your life. You see, gallstones are almost always cholesterol deposits. It is a lesser known fact that you do not ever, ever need to get cholesterol from your diet. Although a small amount of cholesterol is important in your body, your liver naturally produces all the cholesterol you will ever need. But, we aren't the only ones who naturally produce cholesterol. All other animals do as well. When we eat them, we take in their cholesterol as well. This causes our net cholesterol, both HDL and LDL to go way up. This increase in cholesterol is what leads to heart disease and many other harmful conditions, including gallstones which is the cause of your gallbladder pain.

How Do I Stop Gallbladder Pain?

So, the most effective way to reverse gallbladder pain is to stop eating animal foods. That means meat (this includes white meat and fish too). It also means you have to stop eating dairy foods which includes butter, cream, milk, cheese, etc... It's a very simple reason. Gallbladder pain is caused by cholesterol in the diet. Cholesterol in the diet comes ONLY from animal foods. It would be like having a cut on your finger and instead of putting a band aid on it, you keep rubbing it with sand paper. It won't ever heal.

Now, at this point, you may be nodding your head in agreement, but if not, don't take my word for it. Do more research and you will quickly find that I am right. Assuming you come to see that your diet is the cause of your pain, you begin to wonder what in the world you would actually eat, but there is very good news for you. You can begin eating foods that will not only reverse and completely stop gallbladder pain, but will also protect you against heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and all other known ailments and diseases. So, what kinds of foods are they?

Well, they include vegetables, fruits, dark leafy greens, legumes, nuts, seeds and basically anything else in the vegetable kingdom. Remember, there is NO cholesterol in the vegetable kingdom and in order to allow your body to stop creating more and more gallstones that will continue to grow in size, you have to cut cholesterol out of your diet. There are many wonderful cookbooks out there and restaurants that will create delicious meals, so you don't suffer the withdrawal of not eating animals foods anymore. Just do a little research and more importantly, get started as soon as possible. If not, you will most certainly be at the mercy of your gallbladder pain which will continue to get worse and worse until you are forced to have your gallbladder removed. Please, remember that having your gallbladder removed does not solve the problem and most people find the pain continues after they have had their gallbladder removed.

There is one more important step involved with stopping gallbladder pain for good. Assuming you stop eating cholesterol, that means you won't get any worse and it will allow your body to start digesting and removing your current overabundance of cholesterol in the liver and gallbladder. But, the second thing you have to do is actively flush the gallstones out of your body. This usually comes in the form of a gallstone flush. I recommend a very high quality herbal flush that specifically goes to work on your gallstones. This is a one, two combination punch that will effectively and painlessly flush gallstones out of your body, allowing you to get back to your life. The worst thing you can do, by the way, is nothing. Continuing your current diet will simply continue to make your condition worse. I strongly suggest you do more research... look into new ways of eating and gallbladder cleanses so you can begin to heal and get out of pain.
